Description

The specialist dental care is represented throughout the Västra Götaland region primarily at five specialist clinics that offer specialist dental care in all specialties.

Additionally, Folktandvården conducts extensive ST training. In collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Sahlgrenska Academy, we invest in the future of dentistry by conducting patient-centered research.

The specialist dental care and educational clinics in Gothenburg, located at Odontologen, constitute Folktandvården's university dental care. This means that the clinic actively participates in the basic training of dentists and dental hygienists, contributes to dental research, and is part of developing dental care throughout the region.

At the specialist clinic for Endodontics in Gothenburg, we conduct extensive patient activities in all areas of endodontics. Research, teaching, competence development, and continuous improvements are also important parts of the clinic's work.

The clinic has 25 employees and 6 treatment rooms. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM. The main task of the clinic is to treat patients referred to us. Part of the assignment is also dedicated to consultations to and in general dental care, both through physical and digital meetings. The clinic conducts ST training and also participates in teaching in the Dental Program.

At the clinic, we work in a positive spirit where teamwork and development of the operation are natural elements. We are curious and find challenges and innovation exciting. We strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work.

Responsibilities

As a specialist dentist with us, your main responsibilities are to provide high-quality care to referred patients, support caregivers through consultations and training, and develop endodontic care. The assignment also includes clinical supervision and teaching.

The position is based at the Specialist Clinic for Endodontics in Gothenburg, with possible duties at the Specialist Clinic for Endodontics in Mölndal.

Qualifications

Specialist dentist in endodontics. ST dentists in endodontics nearing the end of their training are also welcome to apply.

We would like you to have an interest in being active in the clinical supervision of ST dentists. Therefore, we believe it is important that you have a strong interest in clinical practice, are curious and development-oriented, and possess good pedagogical skills. We are looking for someone who wants to inspire and share their expertise with patients, referrers, and colleagues.
